Thank you for being an antidote to the online dermatologists who, I get the feeling, are doing PR for chemical companies. Is all “natural” skin care safe and effective? No. But surely SOME “natural” materials are safer, and at least as effective, as complicated, ultra manipulated products. And in some cases, I bet those manipulated products are themselves safe and effective. But, at least, “natural” =/= quackery SOME of the time.

as a 33 year old male who is actually chemical free natural about 99percent this is funny what you consider natural. seeing where you put the eye treatment was interesting to me because i usually put on the bags under the eyes so ima try expand to the area you showed in the video.
I’m a middle aged dude who only started delving into skincare in the last year.
I’m big on cooking, so warming and blending oils is familiar territory and I ended up making an emollient blend (cold pressed plant and seed oils), and occlusion blend (tallow, ghee, plant butters).
Chose to go the natural route because I think of skincare as food for your skin, and food is medicine. I’m not gonna be on the cover of magazines anytime soon but my skin looks and feels the best in my memory. Save the synthetics for the masses.
